crocs – fashionable and functional

The inventors of Crocs came up with the idea on a Caribbean sailing trip from Islas Mujeres , Mexico to Miami, FL in May of 2002. They were the brain child of 3 Boulder, CO natives. They were imagining the perfect boat shoe. Essentially; shoe that incorporated function, fashion, and fun, was slip-resistant and waterproof and didn’t smell. Obviously, a success & I’m personally impressed by their brave originality!
